R&D Lab Technician

About the company/role:

• Leading Health and Beauty manufacturer based in Northern Suburbs of Melbourne 
• Seeking an experienced R&D Lab Technician to join their team for a 6-month contract with potential to extend 
• Mon - Fri, 8am - 4pm

Duties: 
Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, your duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform testing on reformulated and existing cosmetic products using wet chemistry techniques such as pH, viscosity etc.
• Calibration of laboratory equipment
• Follow company policies and procedures
• General laboratory housekeeping

About you:

• Bachelors of Science majoring in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Science 
• 1-2 years of demonstrated experience working in a GMP environment, ideally in a cosmetics laboratory
• Previous experience performing wet chemistry techniques
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
