About the Role:Our client is a national food and beverage manufacturer of globally renowned brands. With sites based across Australia, their Brisbane site is seeking an experienced
HPLC Technician.
This role is a casual position, working
rotating day and
night shifts (12 hour shifts across a 24/7 roster). Hours may vary from week to week depending on production schedules.
The technician will be responsible for QC analysis using HPLC, as well as routine chemical and physical testing of raw materials, in process and finished products. Other duties will include equipment calibration, preparing standards for analytical equipment and assisting the Quality team.
Skills and ExperienceTo be considered for this role, please submit a current resume addressing your suitability to the following requirements:
- Bachelor of Science, preferably Chemistry, but other disciplines will be considered;
- Previous experience working in the beverage and/or food manufacturing industry is advantageous;
- Demonstrated laboratory technical skills in wet chemistry and analytical techniques;
- 2+ years’ experience working with HPLC is essential;
- Knowledge of operation, calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment;
- Understanding of GMP highly desired;
- High attention to detail and excellent record keeping skills;
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Ability to work autonomously and excellent communication skills;
- Your own reliable vehicle (this company is not located near public transport)
