About the Role
 
We are currently seeking a Graduate Chemist for our Pharmaceutical client based in the Western Suburbs. The role is a 12-month contract with full time hours, Monday to Friday, paying AUD 38.86/hr. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience with a global organisation.
 
This facility is difficult to access via public transport, so a car and license will be required.
 
Duties of your new role will include:
  • Simple and complex routine laboratory testing of cleaning validation samples.
  • Perform method validation studies.
  • Write simple laboratory investigations and reports.

Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable laboratory technical skills in wet chemistry and analytical techniques.
  • Pervious validation experience where you have verified testing methods and process changes highly desirable.
  • Understanding of GMP requirements is highly desirable.
  • Can understand technical documents and can communicate description of problems and solutions.
  • Ability to build rapport, establish and maintain relationships with peers, business contacts, and corporate management.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and meet deadlines and targets with competing and conflicting priorities.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and extensive technical knowledge and ability is essential in this role.
