About the Role We are seeking a motivated
Food Science student (or similar qualification) to join the team in Jindivick, VIC. This casual role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for translating complex processes into clear, practical documentation. Flexibility with working days is required to align with production schedules.
Key Responsibilities- Shadow and follow production operators on the factory floor to observe daily processes.
- Document workflows and procedures accurately.
- Develop and write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on observed practices.
- Ensure SOPs meet compliance, safety, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with production staff and management to refine and validate documentation.
Qualifications & Skills- Degree in Food Science or a related discipline (essential).
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, concise documentation.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify process improvements.
- Ability to work independently while engaging effectively with production teams.
- Knowledge of food safety and quality standards is highly desirable.
- Flexibility with working days to meet operational needs.
