Location:
Jindivick, VIC (regional Victoria)
Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Casual position, flexible days)
Pay Rate: $30 per hour

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Food Science student (or similar qualification) to join the team in Jindivick, VIC. This casual role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for translating complex processes into clear, practical documentation. Flexibility with working days is required to align with production schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shadow and follow production operators on the factory floor to observe daily processes.
  • Document workflows and procedures accurately.
  • Develop and write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on observed practices.
  • Ensure SOPs meet compliance, safety, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with production staff and management to refine and validate documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Degree in Food Science or a related discipline (essential).
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, concise documentation.
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify process improvements.
  • Ability to work independently while engaging effectively with production teams.
  • Knowledge of food safety and quality standards is highly desirable.
  • Flexibility with working days to meet operational needs.
